Participants will learn how to seamlessly use the iPad impacting both student learning and use productivity. Technology Trouble Shooting Can't connect to the wi-fi? Having trouble logging in? Want to know more about using email? This session will troubleshoot printers, drive access, USB options, and more. 6-12 Reading & Writing Digital Tools Set the pen and paper aside! Participants will use a variety of apps and/or Web 2.0 tools that could assist in enhancing students' reading and writing. If possible, participants should bring an iPad to this session. What's New in Presentation Tools Looking for creative ways for students to demonstrate learning? This session will provide a list of new and favorite digital presentation tools for all grade levels. Plan to become proficient in Thinklink, Piktochart or Timelinr and/or explore resource links to various tools with suggested uses and quick start guides. Tools include: Smore, Presentious, Tripline, Stampsy, etc. Email kochalek with tools you'd also like to try! Educational Apps There are a lot educational apps available today! Learn what's new and user-friendly for students of all ages. We will cover a variety of types of apps from content-specific to multimedia. Free Clip Art and Pictures Learn where to find free and safe images and clip art for use in your digital projects for yourself and your students to avoid copyright infringement. |

Weebly Discover how easy it is to create a classroom website using Weebly's free builder. For first time website creators who need help getting started and current Weebly users who would like to learn some new tricks!! Math Tools Geared toward elementary and middle level math teacher, this session will focus on specific web tools for teaching math and how these tools can be implemented into the daily classroom routines and the importance of "effective practice". Participants will receive a list of possible resources for individual grade levels. Advanced iPad Are you familiar with all that an iPad can do for you? Come and see what might be hiding in that device. We will explore various features on the iPad, along with spending some time with iBooks, the app store, the cloud and more. Photo Editing Interested in having students edit photos for projects? The focus of this session will be free online photo editing tools for all ages. Come and Be Funky with us as we upload, edit and save photos. Personalized Learning in a Flipped Classroom Want to focus more on the individual learning needs of your student this year?
